FOR ALL CURRENT AND INTERESTED VOLUNTEERS:

We hope you are having a fantastic summer! We wanted to let you know about something new at Civic...

We will be having a Volunteer Orientation Event for anyone interested in volunteering for the 2010-2011 season, whether you have volunteered in the past or not.

Saturday, August 7 - 9:30am to 12:30pm

Light refreshments will be served.

-- Meet the staff and board members of Civic Theatre of Allentown!

-- Earn your 2010-2011 certification as a front of house volunteer! Be part of our short training for ushers, greeters, concessions and will-call volunteers. (We strive to ensure the best experience for our patrons, so this season we will be requiring a short orientation for all front of house volunteers before they can be put on a show schedule. Please make every effort to attend this training so you won?t need to do make-up training later in the year.)

-- Learn about the many different types of volunteering you can do at Civic. (Hint: there's more to do at Civic than usher.)

-- Hear about our new volunteer appreciation program for the 2010-2011 season, including a volunteer thank you event.

-- Tour Civic Theatre and ask questions of staff so you can find out all of the volunteer opportunities you may enjoy,

Enjoy a morning with the Civic Theatre staff. Learn how you can help Civic provide high quality live theatre, films, and theatrical training to residents of the Lehigh Valley.
